It's been 3 months since I last touched onsugar.
Was down with some heart issues and was too depressed to do anything, much less blogging. It was one of the darkest period of my life. Had always wanted to be back, but seriously, the situation was so bad that I lose myself. For those who followed my twitter or are in my facebook, will probably have seen some of my unhappy tweets and updates. It took me quite awhile to snap out of it. But many thanks to my friends who were by my side during this period of time, accompanying me when I needed them the most. Right now, I'm adapting to it and hope everything is going to be better for the future.
Hope all of you readers aren't angry with me for my sudden absence.
Besides heart matters, school has been pretty harsh on me. Lots of assignments and stress to face to. Am working really hard on it whilst trying to get distracted from my moodiness.
I shall not ramble on depressing stuffs or my tears are definitely gonna stream down all over again. I'm going to share with you something related to makeup. No tutorials for now, but am working on it soon.
On Sunday, I experienced being a makeup artist for a fashion show for the first time. Truly an amazing experience. Totally different from the usual photography shoots that I went. Met alot of other makeup artists and learnt alot from the rest too. So here's the event.
It was a fundraising event for Haiti earthquake. In collaboration with some of the blogshops, this event turned out to be a success. Pardon the next few photos, because it was taken by my iPhone, therefore, some of it are pretty blur.
Due to the scorching sun, there were lots of makeups melting in the process. Totally challenging us to utilise whatever we had on hands.

One of the models that I did makeup for. Had to do a total of 3 different looks, but I failed to take pictures of the other 2 looks. It was bold, something that I never tried before. Love the outlooks!

Totally had fun while doing this. Sadly, I did not have pictures of the fashion runway too because I was busy touching up models at the backstage. Shall wait for the organisers to send me the photos instead.

My latest craze for Mascara. It promises to lengthen your eyelashes with the help of those fibers.
Saw the difference in length????
And it doesn't harden like other mascara. The texture of your lashes is still soft and natural. And the best part of it is, easy removal. Seriously, I hate removing mascara, because it end up smudging my eyes. Fortunately, this baby does a clean job. It comes out as clumps. No smudging at all!

And my school holiday is finally coming. *excited* I went for a full mani and pedi yesterday. It feel really good to get myself pampered! That's my current nails, and I love it much. The swarovski crystals make me really happy.
Especially my thumbs! I am tempted to make all 10 fingernails looking like this. Wondering if I should??

I was a little bored because I can't get a clear view of the whole makeup session and the makeup artist was asking alot of questions. I was hoping for a hands on session, that will definitely make the whole event more engaging. They were teaching on how to re- create the Burlesque collection look. However, after the final touch, I came to a conclusion that asian eyes are not really suitable for that look.
Then came the time when they announce the 4 lucky draw winners who will get to win a Playzone workshop invitation and also the winners of Hearty Confession.
Was really happy, and my friend decided to do an impromptu video right there! So we were being funny, and my answers to all her questions were really ridiculous. Seriously, I wasn't expecting to win that whole lot, and I'm absolutely thankful. =)

Though I was standing throughout the session, I did enjoy myself too. Here's the picture of the things I've gotten during the workshop. They gave a mystery door gift as well, and it was a lip gloss which was pretty brown in colour. Thought it wasn't much of my liking, but when I wear it on with nude makeup, it looks good.

Christmas is my favorite season, and it always brings about a cosy feeling in me. Besides enjoying the time I spend with my family and love ones, I enjoy partying as well. Glittery look definitely make you stand up among the rest.
Its a really simple tutorial, though it can get a tad messy. But practice makes perfect, so not to worry about it. The main focus of this look is the eyes. It brings about attention, so do not apply eye catching lipstick or get your cheeks all blush up. And if you think removing the glitters are going to be a tough job, you are so wrong. Applying it on fake eyelash glue, make all the glitters stick together. So when you remove it, it is going to come off as a clump. No messiness involved!
